Well, again (yeah I know, amazing) Clint, his dad, Vic, and even "Studly," went beyond on my European BMW. Starter, tune-up kinda thing, they very simply stay ahead of "your car's" maintenance, and buddies she sings now! Great Job! Replaced a leaky water pump in our vehicle. I called them on a Tuesday late afternoon, and asked for a estimate what the replacement cost would be, not seeing the vehicle he quoted me a price, which seemed low to me, but it was just a guess. Asked when could it be done, they said bring it in on Thursday morning. Dropped the vehicle off with them, they had it done by early afternoon, and were even cheaper than the estimate that was given. Great place, great prices, great work done, very fast and very helpful and friendly workers. This will be my new go to place for auto repair!

If my car was a horse, and I flopped over the saddle, it would walk me to Schaeffer automotive, simply said, a new radiator, four new tires (where for the time in my life buying new rubber, I've always ask, "without adding height, can the tire be any wider?). Clint finds a tire, less expensive and an increase of an inch of width all the way around, stabilizing the actual feel with an impressive difference, to a car already legendary for its drive (BMW 323i), and under the estimate, yeah, I call Clint and Vic first, and an internet blog coast to coast of mechanic's he trusts. and assistance in financing, is there anything more an auto shop could do? So basically, thank you!

I just want to give a shutout to Clint. New Years Eve when my mail Jeep transmission went out, I called everywhere, the quotes and the flat refusals to fix it had me so stressed. Clint is on my route and I called him, he said bring it in.. I will get you a quote. Not only did he look at it, he found a lot of issues... he found me a transmission, 2 tires, fixing my brakes, the oil pan leak, the other multiple issues, and all within my budget. The Schaeffer magic rocks, fluid in the radiator, roadside tire repair ( Clint was there in literally minutes ) and the slow leak in a radiator hose, the car is starting to sparkle, it runs way better after any visit to Cliff, him and the crew care about cars, and go beyond to make them sing, and they made it under the estimate. Touch that! Thanks to the whole crew!

This the second time I have taken the car to Schaeffer automotive, and again absolutely impressive all across the board, (a tranny flush and filter in my 323i beams ), and even though I had failed to mention possibly checking the differential bell housing fluid, they had already done that and topped it off with fluid, and for the first time in decades of cross country driving, they were below the estimate, my car and myself thank the entire crew! My wife and I recently visited the Jasper area for a couple of days with plans to take our kids to Holiday World. The evening we arrived into town I noticed an issue with our car, and suspecting it was the alternator. I drove straight to Schaeffer's, and within 5 minutes Clint was already working on my vehicle. Though I think many other places out there would have used my situation as an opportunity to price gouge, the cost of the repair was more than fair and Clint had me back on the road within an hour. Aside from this unique situation, I was impressed by the cleanliness of this shop and it puts my local mechanic's shop to shame! My wife and I recently visited the Jasper area for a couple of days with plans to take our kids to Holiday World. The evening we arrived into town I noticed an issue with our car, and suspecting it was the alternator, I took it to the Jasper Autozone first thing in the morning. The diagnostic test confirmed it was my alternator and luckily they had it in stock. However, being from out-of-town and scheduled to be at Holiday World within 3 hours, I was in a tight spot. The employee at Autozone called Clint at Schaeffer Automotive to explain the situation and Clint agreed to take me in right away. I drove straight to Schaeffer's and within 5 minutes Clint was already working on my vehicle.
